Husker Du has been one of my favorite bands for a good decade, since I was in college myself.

but my friend had a huge crush on him, and since it turns out he was gay, his aloofness is understandable in retrospect. I wouldn't have called him an asshole, but he was a bit standoffish. I just looked up recent pictures of him and I think he's gotten much more attractive with age.

39. I'm a straight guy but I'll agree with that assessment. He has aged quite well.

His latest album ('Silver Age' from 2012) is quite good also. As well as being his first real "rock" album since the late 90's.
