but my friend had a huge crush on him, and since it turns out he was gay, his aloofness is understandable in retrospect. I wouldn't have called him an asshole, but he was a bit standoffish. I just looked up recent pictures of him and I think he's gotten much more attractive with age.

His latest album ('Silver Age' from 2012) is quite good also. As well as being his first real "rock" album since the late 90's.

that he's older than I am. He was ahead of me in school and I started college at 16. So I'm old but not quite that old.

It's not a song, but it's lyrical. And June is the month when summer is supposed to begin (although "June gloom" is frequent here in Los Angeles County).
