Even experts in picking mushrooms have been killed by misidentifying a poisonous mushroom. I remember more than one such story around here.

The ones I found and ate were hollow, and therefore real. At least, I'm not dead yet.

and was interrupted by snow of all things. It was an OK season, not like the last two but OK. Enjoy. Nothing like finding them right out the door.
