Sister Albertine of the Cross of God (serious nun name) caught one girl with that book......vivid memory of her trying to rip it up..

I also remember it as heavy-handed and anything but subtle.

Never actually read it, but it strikes me as being something like a literary version of "Reefer Madness." And in fact the book did turn out to be completely fictitious.
