I don't know how this happened or how to fix it but my friends are not going to be able to read what I post. My son just moved to a new city and gave me his lap top. Could he have set me up with a time bomb to goof on me? Help! Or as I like to say" "cho hu fox iw gibberish".

I don't know what to click on to change the setting as it is no longer something I can read. Maybe it will become apparent after I have slept.

I don't remember how I fixed it, but for about six months, everything I wrote was spelled incorrectly since I don't speak or type French. It was some setting in Windows, if I remember correctly.

Tomorrow it may make me a little testy. I hope I can figure it out but all I see is incomprehensible to me so I don't know what to click to fix it.

Or language. Of course, if the menus are in the other language, that could be hard to fix!

My DIL is Japanese. She used my computer, switched it to Kanji and forgot to switch it back. I went through 8 hours of withdrawal until I could get a hold of her and asked her how she did it so I could switch it back.

She apologized for about a week.

after the rehearsal dinner, the wedding party went back to our place for drinks and the officiant decided to change the language settings on my sister's phone.

it was hilarious how much she freaked out over that.
