I LOVE that movie -- so rich in visuals AND storytelling. Probably my favorite movie after the turn of
the century -- tied with "The Station Agent".

the DVD somewhere. It is, as I am sure you can imagine, more graphic (no pun intended) than what SyFy will show. But at least they are pixilating now, as opposed to cutting outright.

But, either way, an enjoyable flick. I usually consume a fair amount of popcorn when I watch it.

Have a good time with it.

... big chunks of movies sometimes and that one has such a rich and multi-linear story line that
it's almost like seeing it for the first time again.

Popcorn is a good idea -- I have some Orville Redenbacher non microwave white popcorn at
home -- I love it with unsalted butter and lime juice squeezed on it. Thanks -- I might not have
thought of it without your reminder.

commercial celery salt (the kind you can buy in any grocery store in America) or dried chipotle powder guy myself. I suspect that a modest sprinkling of dried chipotle on one side, if you have it about, might work pretty well with the lime and unsalted butter, and might be worth a try, fwiw.

The worst that will happen is that you won't like it and conclude that I am FOS. Trust me, it wouldn't be the first time.

But you might like it. I do.

But take a light touch. Easy to overdo this. Just a tinge, you know?

It's all black & white but then theres red blood ,cool cars lots of violence really nicely drawn or digitally altered "real shots"
and set ups ? Did it come out a few years ago ? I saw it -kind of disturbing but very cool .....I did Cheetos and beer watching it.

it was hard to look at Elijah Wood the same way after Sin City.

I have the graphic novels the movie was based on and there are some shots that are lifted straight from them, which was really cool to see on the big screen.

Edited to add that Mickey Rourke was absolutely fantastic as Marv, too, imo. He was the perfect choice for that role.
