PSY to donate $450,000 to charity.

The love (from my fans) is as big as the sky ... I’m going to keep giving back with good music, but I also want to lead in donating continuously and work hard for those who are neglected in the world.

I don't pay attention to pop these days. I saw 'Gangnum Style' and filed it under silly. PSY caught my attention with the misogyny in his Gentlemen music video. Digging deeper, I found a subversive artist who has challenged Korean norms. The juvenile humiliation of women in 'Gentleman' confronts a society where it is acceptable to beat a girlfriend or daughter in a public place.

The donations will to come from ticket sales of the April 13 Happening concert, profits from Gentleman and PSY's own money.
