Any Warhammer 40k nerds in the lounge?

I just decided to start playing again after a 7 year hieateous and convinced two friends to start armies as well. A lot has changed since I played and I just wondered if anyone here was in this specific realm of nerdom.

It's a 15mm company-level wargame set in World War II. I have two armies at the moment: Irish Guards from Operation Market Garden and the American 2nd Infantry from the Ardennes campaign.

but, have never gotten around to actually playing the game (I use the miniatures for D&D)

Other than a few Space Marines and a few Imperial Guardsmen, I don't have any 40K stuff.

It really is a pretty fun game and try are more than ok with people playing at a table without buying anything (surprisingly enough)

Just did a search and no stores within 100 miles of me. Closest is NYC, a bit over 100 miles.

There are plenty of places to play WH Fantasy or 40K, though, just not "official" stores. It's just a matter of finding time to do it, and packing up my miniatures and going... I haven't bought any new WH stuff since 6th edition, I think, so all my rulebooks are out of date as well.

though, I'd love to put some of my armies on the table one of these years - I have pretty good fully-painted Empire, Orcs & Goblins and Dwarf armies, and a decent amount of Ogres and Wood Elves as well. The "general" of my orc & goblin army was painted by a guy that won a few Golden Daemon painting awards as well...

I'm ok at painting but nothing real fancy. I have a 2,000 point + chaos space marine army and one squad of wood elf glade riders- painted as native Americans- I'd like to do more wood elf but first I want to round out my chaos with a couple of the new things they have

but, now I'm older and my hands are kind of shaky and my eyes aren't as good as they were 10-15 years ago. So, I usually have somebody paint the minis for me.
