I drink one or two glasses of wine a year, so giving that up would not be a problem.

But you will never get me to stop drinking coffee!

WOULD I? If you can possibly pry the Folger's canister out of my cold, stiff, clenched dead fingers, I will rise from my grave and take it back. IOW, Hell, NO!

alcohol is not a factor in my existence. Coffee IS my existence!

I just quit putting sugar and cream in it. So it's not quite as bad for me but I still get my caffeine. I also think now I appreciate good coffee more. I don't ever buy good coffee, but I appreciate it. I doubt I would ever be interested in quitting it.

I could easily give up alcohol. I sometimes go weeks without having anything and then I'll go 2 months of fairly often weekend drinking but even during drinking season I rarely drink more than a couple beers or drinks at a time...I bought a 12-pack of Grolsch 3 weeks ago and still have 9 left. I do love happy hour at Azteca on Sundays though. Good Mexican food and 24oz draft Negra Modelos 2-4-1 all day.

I switched to decaf for awhile and then got tired of it. I don't miss it. In fact, I can't stand the smell of coffee anymore.

As organisms, we really don't need that much, but I'm glad to have things like coffee and wine. They're delicious, good for me, and make me feel better.

I quit coffee quite a while ago and just drink tea. I have champagne every New Years Eve but the last two NYE, I've forgotten, so I guess I don't drink alcohol at all either. I don't have anything against either coffee or alcohol, but I just don't drink them.

I'm a tea drinker who doesn't drink alcohol. Never did like it much once I was of legal age, and eventually I just decided to stop trying to like it. When I was underage, it was lots of fun, though.

Gave up tea, too. That was the hardest.

Four years out, I drink all in moderation.

The fact that coffee is generally benign and has no calories is the closest thing to getting me to believe there's a loving God.
