Just had the inspection of my apartment!

We were complemented on how nice it was. They were surprised on how nice it is since we have been in here for 6 months. They expected more wear and tear.

Thank you guys again for the advice for the carpet! And thank you to all that post the household tips in the group for that! Thanks to all the info my place ROCKED that inspection!

9. It is a standard apartment.

Today however, we did find out why the heavy inspection. They were doing mutable types at once. One for any fire hazards, one for pluming, one for property damage. And the kicker, one for inventory to make sure that nothing was missing such as the oven, the refrigerator, and (weird one) the wiring has/was not taken.

Apparently, people in the complex that have been wanting/needing extra money has been selling the appliances to make it. Even weirder is that there was a case here someone took the wiring for the cooper.

And sadly there has been those that have let damage go without reporting it like the damage done by a pet. That is what the extra money one pays for the Pet deposit/ insurance covers. But some of the elderly don't report fear of the cost, however they have already paid for it to be fix, they don't relies it.

So to make sure it is all in shape and nothing missing, they do a sweep like this. And since they did it, the maintenance men have been running like crazy with pluming tools and new rolls of carpet... But none for ours! YEAH!

had a visiting dog find my bag of flour under the sink ,drag it onto the carpet then drool on it till it became a solid mini mountain like a science project for 3rd. grade .

How are you going to clean it up? I would think more water would just make it worse.
