Baby Chicks!

Anyway, we decided to raise free range chickens on our 10acres here in North Florida. We were able to get some 8-10 day old Plymouth Rock Barr chicks and some Black Sex Link chicks. I also managed to get 4 very cute 4 day old mix birds between Ameracauna and Rhode Island Reds.

There should also be some roosters in the Plymouth Rock Barr chicks who are brooding separately as they are a few days older...

All will be able to free range on our 10 acres as we have farms on 3 sides and the highway (county road) is on the other.

Majorly shifted gears in life... opened a small business and trying to practice self-sufficiency and putting into practice my beliefs about living and the environment.

Good to hear from you!
