It was a hit and run with two servings of Rocky Road.
What has pushed you of your diet(s)?

(7,515 posts)I am so glad I didn't have a mouth full of bourbon...it would be everywhere...That is the funniest thing I've read in days!
Thanks!

(426 posts)But, let me add, NOT directed at anyone here. Matter of fact I also just side-railed my diet. Melted chocolate chips, peanut butter and graham crackers! Need I say more?!

(7,515 posts)May I suggest a sugar cube a day...we NEED sugar, when it gets too low we defeat our entire purpose. While it will never replace melted chocolate chips, peanut butter and graham crackers...delicious...it helps hold off those cravings! Hope to see more of you!

(41,960 posts)And I fall to dumbass stuff like bread. I'm far better of without carbs (for the most part) and certainly without simple carbs but now and then I go a little batshit and eat pita chips or crackers or bread, or some sweet pastry thing. Mostly I don't like sweet so much but now and then it calls my name.
Back up there, Cowboy!

It's all in the head, I know.

(41,960 posts)I went down a couple of sizes so have to maintain at least or dig out the old clothes again. We'll make it. Whatever "it" is.

(7,515 posts)Sugar cubes contain 15/16 calories each. If I need to drop a few pounds, I have one a day and never crave sweets when I do so.

(4,243 posts)It's just taking a break which we all need to do from time to time. I try to eat healthy most of the time, but there are days when those sugar cravings just don't go away. I just satisfy the craving and move on. If it takes two bowls of ice cream or 3 fudge brownies that's what I eat and then go back to eating healthy.
