Any iceboats out?

My parents used to have a place on Rainbow Lake, not too far away.

The dog sled guy thought this would be his last weekend. They're expecting rain and higher temperatures this week, so no moe dog sled till next winter.

It was strange. We thought we'd take a quick weekend to see spring arrive in the Adirondacks and there we were shouting "Mush!" When we got home tonight it was very mild. It was like time travel from spring to winter and back again.

Haven't been there in years, but it's so beautiful up there. The road from the south into town is one of my favorites--that stone wall and the river right alongside the road. I can still remember how it looked, sounded, and smelled. All that pine!

Have fun!

I haven't been there in years. I told the kids that in a place like that you could go out to buy toliet paper, then look up and see the mountains and just stare.
