Wow. Lena Headey Broke: Game of Thrones' Queen Cersei Has Less Than $5 in Bank Account

I'm still not sure if this is some left over April fools joke. But for what's worth here's the article.

Could it be that Queen Cersei has fallen on hard times? Actress Lena Headey, who has breathed life into the scheming, filthy-rich on-screen villain for the past two seasons of HBO's hit show Game of Thrones (and helped to kick off the third season on Sunday, March 31) is reportedly nearly broke, with just $5 in her bank account.

The British star, 39, split from husband Peter Loughran last year, and the couple is currently in the midst of a legal battle over how to split their joint $46,000 tax refund from 2011.

same as in any divorce between bitter former spouses who each want to "win" at divorce:

Assets being sheltered.

Each has a game to play...he's a wealthy musician and celebrity stylist, she's a working actress.

The less you reportedly have, the less you have to split evenly. Have little enough and you can get a beneficial settlement if your former spouse is wealthy in order to preserve you in the lifestyle to which you've become accustomed due to that wealth. Demonstrate that you have no earnings, can't earn and are solely living off accrued assets and you can be partially-exempted from spousal support and child support.

Of course they're both broke...it's not like gobloads of money last forever and where would a pair of millionaires ever be if they could only hire great expensive lawyers to help them get one over on each other by polishing the illusion that they're destitute and the other is loaded.

Don't think for a second the court is buying this any more than I am.
