Magic Jack Plus vs. Ooma vs. Obi

I'm happy using my cell phone, but the husband likes having a landline. I'm tired of the monthly phone bill. I've read mixed reviews of the Magic Jack, which is the least expensive option. I've seen a few raves right here on DU regarding Ooma.
How do I go about choosing? What do I need to look at to determine the best choice? We don't do any international calling. Thanks in advance! 
Edited to add: According to speedtest.net, download speed is 0.938 Mb/s, upload speed is 0.899 Mb/s. Is that too pathetic to consider VOIP?
