The 12 Worst Party Schools In The US

It seems as though it's the crazy party schools get all the attention these days. But what about the many tame and civilized schools out there which remain completely under the radar with absolutely no stories of late-night shenanigans or poor-decision making? Well, they stay under the radar until they repeatedly get put on lists of the colleges with the worst party scenes in the country, like this one. Below, see what real students on College Prowler had to say about their schools' nightlife:

2. LIBERTY UNIVERSITY, Lynchburg, Va.

Responses to questions about Liberty's night life range from serious to serious. "Liberty doesn't need a nightlife! If you want to have fun you can go play video games in a friend's dorm room. But let's face it, college is for school work. You should probably be studying instead of partying," said one student. Another said, "We are here to get an education and obey the Liberty Way."

3. INDIANA UNIVERSITY NORTHWEST, Gary, Ind.

"Night life is great! Alcohol isn't served so all students are able to attend all functions," said one happy student on College Prowler, giving a nice positive spin on the subject. Other students were more pragmatic about the nightlife scene in Gary: "It's Gary, Indiana."

7. BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY, Provo, Utah

Sure, there's no hard-partying scene. But BYU students find ways to stay entertained: "We have many activities that go on nearly every night and parties. They are different parties than those at other colleges however. They are still fun though," said one student. Another added, "Make sure that you are ready to be creative in your free time!"

I'm sure they didn't include only religious schools. Otherwise it would be a much longer list. Initech Mar 2013 #3

How, exactly, do you do a list of the 12 worst party schools in the country without mentioning Pensacola Christian College, Bob Jones University, Campbell University, Mount Olive College, The Citadel or Virginia Military Institute?

But yeah Bob Jones, Oral Roberts, and Regent University should all be on the list.

For some reason, I thought they stripped the accrediation back when they had an open policy against interacial dating.

that UMASS Amherst isn't on that list someplace.

It's not called "Zoo-Mass" for nothing.

The Hobart Hoedowns are notorious for being crazy

I went to a liberal religious college that did not have alcohol on campus. I had no interest in sororities. I thought they were quite stupid. I did not miss alcohol. There were kids of many different backgrounds there. You didn't have to sign any pledges not to drink or any of that stuff.

I also spent two years at a gigantic state school where there was beer and alcohol on campus. I learned to drink beer but very soon I found out I didn't want to feel like crap the next day so I stopped drinking.

I had enough discipline to get my schoolwork done during the week and not get drunk on the weekend. I did a lot of dancing, dating and concertgoing on weekends. No sporting events or Animal House type behavior.

My parents didn't spend thousands of dollars for me to get drunk and miss class and waste their money.

I still don't like alcohol. I can have fun without it.
