The Walking Dead 3.15 - This Sorrowful Life (Spoiler Alert)

Only two hours to go. Interesting chat with Daryl & Glenn...

A possible truce with the Governor comes with strings attached for Rick and the group.

I hope Rick isn't dumb enough to take the offer.

Would be for me.

Carl looked ashamed when his Dad told of his actions.

People will wonder who would Rick consider selling out next time.

I think Rick did both harm and good in his admission. Gotta see which outweighs the other.

Preview showed people packing up. I wonder if some or all leave the prison...or none. "Welcome to the Tombs" is season finale title and the tombs are what T-Dog named the part of the prison that still has walkers. (and a place to go once you've died...quiet as a tomb) Double entendre maybe?

Did Rick's group go into the tombs? Do the Governor's group find an empty prison filled only with the dead? Do Rick's group enter the tombs and the Guv's group follow?

I think Merle took matters in his own hand because he had his own agenda. It wasn't just believing Rick couldn't do it. Merle wanted to kill the Governor and anyone else he could. He knew enough of how the Governor operated to know they would already be in place at the water towers. He knows how deadly a fight would be between the two groups and he does love his brother.

On Talking Dead the actor said he his character was just tried of hearing Michonne talk but I think Merle knows Daryl would have hated him for turning her over. And he knew Daryl should live if only one if them could. He owed Daryl...or so he thinks. Remember Daryl's back? All the whip marks? That jolted Merle to his core.

Merle was a belligerent and mean man and his anger took the place of his pain, as is often the case with anger. He was always angry around the prison group even before the rooftop in Atlanta. He felt they looked down on him, that caused him pain...he reacted in anger. At Woodbury where being mean is an asset, he had only to be careful of the Governor. Merle was smart enough to know the Governor was truly out there. Tyrese, for example, won't make it in Woodbury - he isn't mean. He's a hothead but he's not malicious.

Merle died trying to do good in his own way. Which isn't always the best way. That his brother had to put him down seemed almost inevitable. It had to be that way. Daryl had to be the one.

I think maybe Tyrese or Milton will save Andrea.

But what if...while the Guv was attacking the prison, Rick's group took Woodbury? Just a thought. lol

I like how Carol has grown. It was always there in her.

I know how the comics go on the second attack....wonder how the show will? I'm looking forward to being on pins and needles.

Its fine that he's a little crazy, but for Christ sakes, how could anyone in his group trust him again. Certainly not Michone. He's responsible for Merle's death too.

Rick is standing in front of packed car looking around.

The prison was a good place but not with the gov around.

I bet the prison is full of walkers and other surprises for the gov's army.

That is what I would do.

The outside was full of walkers, where did they go.

They are inside the prison or the gov's army got rid of them first.

Rick needs to step down and let someone else decide.

He has PTSD, or PTZD, to many zombies to deal with.

He is broken, that was plain to see last night.

I don't know where they will go but anyplace is safer now.

If the place is full of surprises for the Gov's army, he won't have army left.

It will be a long week to see what was on the other side of that door.

Mon Mar 25, 2013, 11:13 AM
Mar 2013

The final episode is entitled "Welcome to the Tombs"

I think they've called the lower levels of the prison the Tombs before because they're full of walkers/biters/zombies. So, my guess is they may try to retreat through the tombs.

The preview they showed has the woodbury army (spoilers in case you don't want to know)using a grenade launcher to hit one of the towers, and then it shows them going through the prison grounds and encountering nobody... so, my guess is that Rick's group is hacking their way through the tombs and then will either attack the remaining group at woodbury, or else take the Governor's group from behind. Could also be where the crying baby gives them away, too.

my guess.

It just might be the Tombs for a lot of people.

The Gov is full of himself and can't see defeat now, that is stupid.

He wants Rick and his people, and thinks they are in the prison.

Any good general would think about what might be inside the prison.

The Gov doesn't care who he kills off, people are just a means to a end.

Without the two brothers to fight, it would be best to leave.

They might have parked the cars outside the back of the prison and will retreat there.

So many ways this could go.

With the baby they may just have bugged out.

I would think maybe Hershel staying behind and taking out some of the Gov's army.

That would let the rest of the group get away.

Mon Mar 25, 2013, 03:47 PM
Mar 2013

them leaving the farm was pretty final - it was burning down around them and overrun with hundreds, if not thousands, of walkers.

Just a guess - they open with The Governor torturing Andrea as the pre-credits scene.

Post credits - the Governor gives his speech to rally the troops in town and then, the Woodbury army loads up and rolls out to the prison while Hershel (or Rick, since he's sort of the captain of the group) marries Glenn & Maggie. (maybe the wedding scenes are cut in between the army loading up & rolling out, to give the impression they'll be caught with their pants down.)

No idea where Milton fits in and if/when he frees Andrea. Not sure what Tyreese will do, but I know the two guys with Tyreese will be part of Team Woodbury.

I think most of Woodbury is doomed, though.

In last night episode, our guys were already getting ready for battle.

That trip when they found Morgan might have given Rick and his little group ideas.

Just last night the Gov lost a lot of people, with just one man and his walkers.

If the Gov makes it, he will need find another bunch of suckers .

Just a few good trip wires would do the job.

Scare the hell out of the Gov's little army.

He doesn't have a battle tough army.

Hand to hand with zombies isn't what they are used to.

I can see the Gov hanging back when the army goes into that door.

If I was Rick I would let them come in and start looking, and then spring my surprise.

I would cut them off from the door, maybe let loose a few walkers.

Let the war begin.

The army has big guns, we saw that last night in the previews.

At some point his army will have to search, that is when you get them.

The Gov thinks he can't help but win.

I was just watching a show about the Roman Army being destoyed by Germans in the woods.

The Germans let the Romans get deep into the woods and then cut them off.

The Roman army didn't stand a chance.

Our guys just have to handle this right.

And have escape route.

This why I don't like to get attached to anyone on this show.

You know he wants to the Gov really bad.

Go out with a bang.

No, he and Carol needs to get together.
