I HATE that! If you're going to post your menu on your restaurant's website, please include prices! When I'm looking for a place to go for dinner or drinks and I've never been there before I want to know if I can, you know, actually afford to go there. I used to loathe when Resaurants would post their menus as PDf's. Now more restaurants are finally putting their menus on the website proper but I guess the catch is that we lose the prices.
Customers kinda want to know if the appetizers are going to cost the same price as entrees or if a burger is going to cost $15. Even if they are, it doesn't mean we ain't gonna go. But it at least allows the customer to make sure the money is available.

(3,502 posts)I agree about the PDF's but if I really, really want to know I'll open it. In the event that there's no price anywhere, I figure it's a case of "If you have to ask you can't afford it.". Of course, sometimes it's just that chain restaurants have different pricing in different locales, but I'm sure they could figure out how to give people a some guidance if they really wanted to.

(13,447 posts)though that's a case where PDF's ARE helpful. When you search for the local chains, they could put a PDF with localized prices for each location.
But I've gone from hating PDF's to looking for them because those actually INCLUDE the prices.

(6,336 posts)I had to go to an event last night at a restaurant/bar and their website did not have the address on it. (I knew the street it was on from the Facebook invite but they got the number wrong--- I ended up seeing it from the street, but an address is a must in the age of GPS).
Stupid!
