Bluesbassman works for Google.

I just did a search and entered the word 'blues' and before I could type the rest of my query...three DU hits came up...all mysteriously commented on by...you guessed it...

BLUESBASSMAN!!!

He's a spy. Or a plant. Yeah...I'm thinking a plant. Possibly a shrubbery.

Back in my guitar playing days though, I had a silver faced Bassman amp that was completely reworked for guitar and put into a Deluxe Reverb cabinet with a 12" Jensen P12. Sweetest blues amp I ever played through. When I took up the bass full time, I gave it to a friend who was a way better guitar player than I was, an I figured he could make it cry and sing like it was meant to do.

I still dink around around on my Strat, and I now have '65 Super Reverb re-issue for when I need it. Now THAT is a loud amp.
