My trip to Nova Scotia was bitter sweet

1. I lobster fished with my uncle

one season with the old wooden traps with the cement slabs in the bottom of them. Pulling up 5 traps on a knocker, by hand..
I made some good money, but I was only 17 and wasn't interested in doing that again...

while trying to be supportive at the right times.

But, and I am hoping you will forgive me for this -

the streets of your town, when you and your sister were coming of age, must have been strewn with men who killed themselves due to failure to gain your favor. You are both stunners.
