Spring, at least at the Helsinki Zoo

Spring is almost here. While us humans are counting down the days until March 20, bears are much less concerned with the calendar. Just take a look at these bears, from Finland's Helsinki Zoo, exploring the outdoors for the first time since their hibernation. For them, Spring has already arrived.

This being Finland, there are several inches of snow on the ground. But for bears who have been sleeping indoors since November, that fact may be almost as exciting as Spring itself. Watching the younger bear in the mother-daughter pair frolic in the snow is a nice reminder that, even though spring time is almost here, there are plenty of good times to be had while the weather is still cold.

They are so much fun to watch...digging, tussling with each other, pushing their noses into the snow!

They are just beautiful...
