3) Is the glass half empty or did you drink the rest?
4) How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if it actually gave a damn?
5) You have ten apples and you give three to your friend. What color are the apples?
6) Name this tune in zero notes.
7) Do you know the way to San Jose?
8) Assuming you could go back in time and meet any historical figure you want, what playlist would you have on your iPod?
9) What size socket wrench do you use to set the timing on a '65 Ford Falcon with a 289?
10) What is your favorite color?

all of these questions are mentally challenging and would make for a very hard test at an Ivy League school .

Actually, I doubt any of them would know how to change the oil in a car of ANY age. Timing's all computer controlled now, but I can still do it on an old engine and I still have my timing light, although I got to a point where I just did it by ear. Six degrees BDC is pretty easy to judge just by twisting the distributor while you rev the engine at the carb. It's very close to becoming a lost art.

On their last test I gave them just excerpts from some of the fundamental Supreme Court Cases and had them write about the case and its significance - of course they had to figure out which case it was. Come to think of it, that was in the other half of this course.
