My childhood friend who just found me on Facebook is a repuke.

I could tell she was super-religious, but this latest post was of the White House with black smoke coming out of it. "Black Smoke: 1400 days without a budget." And whose fault is that?

Thing is, she remembers standing up for me when I was being bullied way back when. Do I need to tell her that she voted for a bully last fall?

My friend since 1st grade is a Repub. The last political discussion we had was about the presence (or non-presence) of WMDs in Iraq in the run up to that war. She said they were there, I said no way. She has never made another political comment and I have refrained from I told you so. All remains well.

She always had the signs and her parents were, but I expected more from her.

She lives in Texas now, that doesn't help.

The ones I'm directly related to, and/or who aren't Bachmann-level nutbags, I've kept.

They mostly only show up on my page to comment on pics of my daughter or my dogs, or recipes I cross post. They know better than to start a political pissing contest when they're going to be outnumbered 200 - 5.
