The DU Lounge

My cat Jackie does. She makes a bed in the basket on top of the clean clothes.
I hate doing laundry, and I cannot possibly disturb her as she looks so comfy.
It is prolonging the inevitable, but I'll take it.

When my niece was born, my parents didn't have a crib or bassinet at their house and there were no bouncy seats back then (1988).
If she would nap at their house it was in a laundry basket with blankets if her parents forgot the playpen. I have a picture of her in it somewhere.

(23,274 posts)I couldn't leave clothes in a laundry basket after I took them out of the dryer, or she'd get in the basket, sniff the clothes, then leave her "mark" on them. That was her idea of "help"--make me wash 'em twice!
