Does your cat help you with the laundry?

My cat Jackie does. She makes a bed in the basket on top of the clean clothes.

I hate doing laundry, and I cannot possibly disturb her as she looks so comfy.

It is prolonging the inevitable, but I'll take it.

1. My daughter and my cat BOTH love to lay on warm clean laundry.

Sometimes it is a battle to get the laundry folded before they both climb on the pile!

When my niece was born, my parents didn't have a crib or bassinet at their house and there were no bouncy seats back then (1988).

If she would nap at their house it was in a laundry basket with blankets if her parents forgot the playpen. I have a picture of her in it somewhere.

2. I once had a Siamese that peeed on the clothes out of the dryer...

I couldn't leave clothes in a laundry basket after I took them out of the dryer, or she'd get in the basket, sniff the clothes, then leave her "mark" on them. That was her idea of "help"--make me wash 'em twice!

7. I once knitted two hockey sweaters. My cat helped me a great deal then by unfirling the ball

of wool and spreading it around the apartment.
