(118,773 posts)4. I usually turn away when there is violence on the screen. I closed my eyes at the most violent
scene in Bowling for Columbine amongst other films. But somehow when it comes to Tarantino I don't take the violence all that seriously... I feel I am watching great movie making so am not so affected by it.

I too generally dislike violence in movies but with Tarentino the violence is so over the top and comic book in fashion that it doesn't bother me.
Spoiler Alert: In this movie some really bad guys get killed.

Christoph Waltz was amazing and deserved his Oscar. I was so happy he won. Actually, the entire cast was amazing. Loved it.
