"Throwback Pepsi is the way to go." According to my wife's best friend.

She isn't a coffee drinker or a Tea drinker so she does drink Pop. Lately she has been wanting to get off of High Fructose Corn Syrup so she saw Throwback Pepsi made with real sugar and that's all. She is freakin amazed. She isn't gulping it down like "regular" pepsi. She would go through a two litter a day she basically goes through two cans (12 oz) now. She takes smaller sips and she says it actually feels like she is drinking something and that she actually tastes the drink now. Something she hadn't done since she was a girl in the late 70s early 80s.

Yes I know some on this board say give up all kinds of drinks like that but some people do like pop products and she has been preaching Throwback pepsi since this weekend.

Just making the suggestion if anyone wants to give the product a try.

By the way, I just NOW learned from my doctor that I shouldn't be drinking DARK black sodas (like
Coke or Dr. Pepper, etc. My diabetes has impaired my kidney functions slightly and dark sodas use
phosphoric acid for their coloring. My kidleys (tribute to a smartass friend who mouthed off to an
asshole umpire... a dad of an opposing player who was cheating us... who, when he told my friend to
put his batting helmet on the right way, was given the HILARIOUS answer that caused him to
call the game as a forfeit --- worth it... we were 10-yeqr-old kids making fun of an asshole of an
adult) of "I'se pertectin' mah kidleys!!!" To this day, I can't THINK "kidneys" without HEARING
"kidleys".

My kidleys can't excrete phosphoric acid like they should (others like citric are fine) which would
leave the acid in my body for too long and doing damage elsewhere.
