(37,648 posts)It wasn't about video games, specifically. But some article I read came to the conclusion that playing on the computer resulted in a lower body weight, although you wouldn't think so. The reason being that the people didn't eat while doing it!

(37,648 posts)I can't help b ut conclude when I spend my evenings on the computer instead of moving around doing anything, that my health is suffering, even though I'm eating less.

(37,648 posts)I got hooked on Nintendo years ago, when Zelda came out. I make a point never to play video games, now, because they're too addictive! I couldn't do anything else, just about, until I finished that game, which took many many hours to do!

(10,893 posts)I have a tall glass of water sitting next to me while I'm playing my NDS. I do this in order to compensate for not drinking water with my food.
