55+ women

Last edited Sun Feb 24, 2013, 08:54 PM - Edit history (1)

Can knock your socks off. I've been treated a few times when I was ~30. That is all. I'm a fiery lover of all women as a lesbian, and yeah, I've sampled the delicious, more aged pot.

That's all. It involves a thread from GD where someone attempted to disparage an actress that is a stand up advocate.

Kathleen Turner rocks her ass off for her activism, and I will never be able to see her as less than beautiful because she gives a shit.

skinny standard. There's nothing wrong with the standard, but it's as if the only flavor was vanilla. There has to be room for chocolate and cherry rum and lemon meringue, so to speak.

As another example, I don't pay much attention to popular music, so I never took a good look at her until the Super Bowl - but I think Beyonce has a great body -

She doesn't have pencil thighs, but boy can she move! I wish women such as her had been part of the popular culture when I was much younger. Back then if your thighs didn't look like a 10 year old's, you thought they were too big!

One of the challenges someone posted in the thread was to post a picture of you at 20 and another of you at 50 for your OWN comparison (directed at the OP). My wife has hardly changed in those 30 years, despite having three children. Frankly I think she looks better at 50, but not all guys have that view of things. She still gets carded and hit on by guys 30 years her junior.

I on the otherhand look a hell of a lot older. I've been called a cradle robber when I'm out with her. My face has filled out, my skin is suffering from getting a heavy tan (sun poisoning) all the time as a teen, and my hair is turning gray (which I don't mind a bit). My hands are wrinkled, my skin is covered in "old age" spots, and my strength and flexibility are nothing like they were even ten years ago. I'm okay with getting old.

Everyone gets older. That's natural. And I don't give a shit what anyone's sexual orientation is (NOTE: NOT A "CHOICE&quot and think all rights including marriage, insurance benefits, death benefits, adoption, hospital visitation, and everything else my wife has should be afforded to any couple anywhere without restriction.

The "All men were created equal" thing came with the restriction that women couldn't vote and blacks were 3/5 of a person. Fuck that noise. EVERYONE (not just men, no racial boundaries) are created equal.

What bothered me most about the post was that it came close to a direct implication that she'd had "work done". Well, yeah, she did - necessary life-threatening work on her legs and feet, not her face. I don't like the Botox look (think Nancy Reagan, Laura Bush, and other well-known people who screwed their faces up). I'm not at all into boob jobs except for reconstructed surgery (cancer in particular) and think the bowling ball look is rather unattractive if not revolting.

One of my eldest's lesbian (well, bi) friends felt welcome bringing her girlfriend to our house and introduced her to us as "my girlfriend". Her own parents don't accept her orientation, but she knows we do and both she and her girlfriend are welcome here whenever and without warning. The door is open.

I got called a "fag" when I was in grade school because I was small, caring, and didn't wear the "coolest" clothes because my parents couldn't afford them. I wore hand-me-downs and if something new came it had to be brown instead of blue jeans because my mother thought blue jeans meant you were promiscuous (think "The Fonz&quot . I would have LOVED to be promiscuous back then!!!! I'll do anything I can to undermine that sort of bullying for children of this day. It hurts. It really hurts. Imagine if I had actually been gay! I think it would have hurt a bit more then.

I'm sorry for carrying on, but it's a sore subject with me. I've had LGB friends my entire adult life (which began at about 16). I don't recall any trannies, but it doesn't matter. You're born who you are and can't change that. The "pray the gay away" thing makes me want to punch whoever says it. We're all equal.

Not that I wouldn't be impressed. I don't think my number is any higher than 25 and I'm already mostly played out.

I can tell you that straight up without even batting an eye, with enough samples to form a theory.

ETA: How's that for evading a question that didn't pertain to the OP?

It was a stupid, insensitive post.

But, to be fair, the OPer has now offered an apology.

I love Kathleen Turner. Wonderful actress, wonderful person.
