Do the Seven Dwarfs count as 1 item or 7 when you take them through the Express Checkout lane?

1 as long as they're clearly marked "not for individual sale"
0 (0%)
1 as long as they still have the plastic 7-pack ring on them
0 (0%)
7 since you can't just scan Dopey 7 times instead of each of them separately; it screws up inventory
1 (100%)
6 because everyone forgets Sneezy

and I admit I'm one of those at the 15-items-or-less line that will consider identical items to be counted as one since they scan through real fast as if they were one. So far no one has yelled at me.

Edit: meaning the dwarves would be one item, but they don't have to marked as not for individual sale.

so the plural of "arf" should be "arves"

The dogs met us with wagging tails and many arves.

"Dwarves are a race in Middle-earth also called the Naugrim, Khazâd, and Gonnhirrim. The correct pluralization of Dwarf in the works of J. R. R. Tolkien is noted to be "Dwarrows" or sometimes even "Dwerrows"."

You would have to find one container to enclose the dwarves in order to count them as one item.
