I've just discovered something more addictive than crack.

It's the TV Tropes website (http://www.tvtropes.org)

Basically it is a huge wikipedia style database listing every cliche and commonly repeated theme or plot device in any television show or movie, listing and explaining all the movies and shows to have featured this cliche/theme/plot device. But what's worse is that they will typically mention other cliches/themes/plot debices, and soon enough, your whole day is shot.
