http://lasvegas.cbslocal.com/2013/02/20/woman-arrested-for-sex-with-pit-bull/
Tuesday was just that for officers of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department when they spotted 23-year-old Kara Vandereyk having sex with a pit bull in her yard....
According to the arrest report, Vandereyk was naked when they arrived on scene and continued touching the dog in a sexual way.
Officers said the woman appeared to be on drugs and informed them she was bipolar.
Doggy style!
I certainly hope she wasn't breastfeeding, given that she was on drugs.

(102,283 posts)but also to get her off the meth. Uggh.

(716 posts)She needs some serious help. And yes, that looks like meth damage. I have a friend who wrote a contortion program for an anti-drug campaign that would distort a facial image based on the effects of meth. His own face distorted that was was seriously disturbing.

(716 posts)They drool while they do it.
Edit: Other than that, I like pugs. They're cute and cuddly. They do need a box of tissues an hour, but they're still cute and cuddly. I can just do without the leg humping. Even the females do it (go figure).
hlthe2b
(102,283 posts)Dogs aren't that particular about what they hump. I mean, my leg? Seriously? And just what is the purpose of that? Even fixed male dogs will get hard ons (visible ones, out of the sheath) and they can't do anything with them other than hump legs. That's never made sense to me. Their nuts are long gone but they still get hard ons? I've had my leg humped by female spayed dogs and that REALLY doesn't make any sense on any level. It's odd behavior.
As for the woman in the article, she's messed up. Wasted on meth and out in the yard naked getting laid by a dog is something you would expect to see on The Onion. I hope she gets help.

(64 posts)I feel terrible for this woman, and yes, for the dog.
I hope she gets the help she needs.
There is so much bad, weird, and tragic news lately.

(78,249 posts)so you wouldn't know that pit bull threads are a perennial Lounge favorite, right up there with breastfeeding, smoking, the Olive Garden, Laura Branigan, and cornflake chicken. (Don't ask. All will be made clear in due time.)

(64 posts)I was not commenting on the fact that you posted it, I was more commenting on the sad situation.

(1,999 posts)That reporter is a jerk. Obviously that woman has some serious problems, and bipolar doesn't begin to cover them. I don't find the story particularly amusing.
Poor doggie. Poor woman.

(27,461 posts)Why on Earth are you publishing this woman's name and picture along with revealing a PSYCHIATRIC DIAGNOSIS? How is that remotely responsible journalism? Of course what she did is disgusting, but why humiliate an obviously mentally ill person and publish details of her private medical history? How likely is it she so much as imagined sharing that information with the officers would end up published in an article?
How callous and punishing do we have to be as a people? IF she did what she's accused of, she's facing the legal system for it, just as the system intended. Do we also need to pile on with the maximum, most public possible humiliation? This is a frighteningly cruel, cold-hearted, unnecessary story. And it's going to be a heck of a lot harder for this PERSON to get well as a result.
Do no ethical standards exist in journalism anymore?

(30,481 posts)She clearly needs help, and knowing that this is out there will hurt her mental state even more. It will be one more thing in her life that she feels is insurmountable. I will have a good thought for her and hope she sees the need for change. When she does, I hope her family or loved ones are there for her.

(30,252 posts)...I stumbled across a picture of a woman being rear-ended by a chihuahua. This is when I realized that our species may very well be doomed.
how does one . . . stumble on something like that. seriously. I've gone surfing for
. . . um, specific types of porn. but never have I run into bestiality.
how did that happen.

(30,252 posts)I was at an Japanese animation convention (of all places), and I saw a book on Mexican erotica. I was expecting something in the vein of Bettie Page. Instead, I got the chihuahua. This is one of those things that you can't unsee.
And yes, unfortunately, I've seen a snippet of one of those "horse videos." More enlightened humans would consider this sexual abuse of animals, even if the horse seemed to enjoy himself, but why even do this in the first place? These animals depend on us for shelter, food, and companionship.
My kitty, Banjo, loved to give me the biggest hugs when I came home from work, and sometimes she'd kiss me on the lips in bed to wake me up, but that's as far as I go.
