The moniker timdog with the 44 came about because when I started doing internet 25 years ago or so timdog was not used. So at that time I was just timdog. Then when I started to use timdog I found I was not the only one. So I jumped to timdog44, like people do with license plates so they can get a moniker that is unique to them that they can remember it. Combination of my being over 60 and my recreational activities when I was young.

Got raked on my first night here at DU. My sin was that I registered election night, I mentioned Big Bang Theory in my first post, and now I find out the # after my name was a dead giveway to my not belonging here. After I was spanked though, some nice people showed up and raked spanker over the coals.
