Got home today & there's about 5 in of snow on the ground.

The plow didn't even get down the street yet. I figured I'd wait a bit. They're sure to come by soon. Right?

So I wait until 5:50, then 6, then 6:30. Hell, I might as well get out there & dig out the driveway. So I go out, clean it up, come back in & take a shower.

7:45, guess what just drove down my street & buried the end of my driveway?

It is cool here in Houston, about 60 with enough wind for the windchimes.

I cut the weeds in the yard today, yeah the weeds are coming on.

On a good note my redwind blackbird has arrived a little early this year.

He was singing in the little tree.

He is the only redwing black bird around here, glad he is OK.
