I will always hate that sound...

My tuxedo cat Lucky has this habit of every so often eating too fast. And too much.

So she barfs up what she just ate, and I clean it up.
Usually happens about 1-2 times a week.

But I hate that horrible sound she makes, when she pukes.
I sure give her tons of love after cleaning up for her though.

damn thing. Barfs right after eating. We had another cat that would actually gobble up Panda's barf. I guess he like his food pre-warmed!!

It's always on the carpet, not on the kitchen floor.

Mine do this all the time. I try to grab them and move them over the sink or the tub, or at least on a smooth surface, but no. One time one of ours managed to puke right into the baseboard heater.

when it's trying to fill it makes the same sound as the imminent barfing of a cat I tell you

It's not the actual... that makes the noise that's gross but it's the pre... noise that is gross.

My cat Kylie (names after Australian superstar Kylie Minogue... I had a phase...) barfs about 3 times a week and it's all due to her speed eating. I learned that if I put marbles (the REALLY big ones about 1 inch in diameter) in her food it slows he down as she has to eat around those... and therefore no puke.

But they all moved out of state years ago so I don't know if the kid grew up to appreciate the musical stylings of Ms. Minogue.

as for the actual cat barf, I had no idea the speed eating was a factor. I'm gonna start paying attention to Kiki, aka Mt Vesuvius.

he's barfed all his life......I remember being very anxious, telling my vet about it - after a thorough examination he pronounced Clancy a "healthy barfer".......Clancy is 15 now, still healthy, still barfing - I mean, what could I do? I love him.

WHY do cats walk while they urp? You end up with a series of smaller puddles o'puke to clean up.

Cats, you gotta love them!

This is Marilyn (Monroe). She used to do the same thing. But now she is an only kitty and doesn't have to eat so fast.

she'll stuff herself and then yak it back up on the carpet, so now we take away the food when we think she's had enough.

i had a roommate with a puker cat, she always hit one of the two little rugs in the house. she hit the power strip once. that was gross.
