Cats DO have a job. Believe it or not... they accept that. And they're very, VERY good at it. (Original Post) MiddleFingerMom Feb 2013 OP

Mine also doubles as a masseuse, an alarm clock, and a bed-warmer. She used to be a great bug exterminator, too.

My black tomcat didn't come home last night. I'm worried about him because he has only done this once before. I'm hoping that he will show later tonight.

NoName, in the 8 years or so I had her, slipped outside about 8 times.
.
Only 3 or so of those times. she didn't show up again before I had to
leave for work. I was a mess all day worrying about her, but she was
always hanging around my front door when I got home.

They're adventurous, but they're also survivors.

There was a party about a block away on Saturday night and I have a suspicion that somebody there may have went after him since Mario is a black cat. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I have a bad feeling.

She always wanted to be around me. She would even hop in the shower and sit there getting wet. She'd even hop into the bath and hang out with me. Then one day she snuck out the door and never came home. Broke my heart. I played it off like I didn't care, but I did.

I have another cat now, and I try to be her buddy, but she doesn't care.

I like dogs. You can hug them and they hug you back.

Nice calico cat that I've had since she was born about two years ago. She is a lap kitty and yes, she will hug me back!

First cat I've ever actually liked. I mean, most cats seem to get along with me okay, they like me well enough. I am the human equivalent of dry catfood -- I'll do in a pinch. But this cat tricked me, she ACTED like she was my little buddy then ran away.

Now dogs are different. For some reason I get along with them marvelously. I've never had any problem understanding them or getting them to understand me. I wish I was HALF as good as dogs seem to think I am. Cats, it seems, know better.

So anyway, you can keep your fuzzy heartbreaking hellspawn traitors, and I will stick with loyal squeezable ruppies.

I_T_W really wants to know that when I_T_W returns home to Teh Lounge something a little more than a sweet, purr purr purr kitteh has I_T_W's back.

Wading ass deep in vile excrement thru the cases kicked in to the MIRT is rather unsettling,
to say the very least.

I_T_W has provided a snark-free area for everyone's enjoyment
in the daily Random Thoughts threads.

Oh and, now it has become crystal that Teh Lounge agrees that:
We want something more ~> http://www.democraticunderground.com/1018294267

I_T_W and Teh Lounge has reviewed the answers again, and again, and again, and again.

So, I_T_W did what I_T_W could for you, when you requested her help recently.
I_T_W is so sorry that she could not provide the solution you wanted.

Now, I_T_W humbly request a vote in this poll, if only a pass . . .
