(72,790 posts)Probably my fave scripted show on television (network or cable), although it hasn't been as good, imo, this year as the past two seasons, and the time slot (often delayed because of football) is really hurting its ratings.

(24,721 posts)I'll try to catch it online.
I was wondering, is the premise going to be similar to "The Fugitive", where Mitch & Abby have to outwit mobsters who are looking for them? Or will the setting be primarily in the "firm" itself? Also, does the series follow the book better than the movie did?
Did you like the actors?

(20,043 posts)I put a reminder up yesterday about The Firm.
Today I have a thread with links to all the new mid season shows starting...in case there are others you may be interested in.

(20,043 posts)haven't watched yet...hubby likes it too, and we watch together. He goes to be too early so we dvr it or watch On Demand.
I DVR'd The Firm. He wasn't to watch that too.
The Firm was worth watching?

(34,183 posts)The Good Wife is a great contemporary LA Law type of show. Its a cast of characters.
Some of the supporting actors are fantastic. Of course, Archie Panajbi's Kalinda is getting a lot of attention, but I'm really digging Carrie Preston's Elsbeth Tascioni. I read somewhere that she is "ditzy-like-a-fox".
I look forward to seeing if The Firm lives up to my expectations.

(12,132 posts)Set DVR to record series based on Firm premier. It was so long ago that I read the book that I would have no idea if they followed it closely, loosely or alternate universally.
I've never seen Good Wife.
