Why is chicken soap considered so wonderful and healing thing?

You know what I mean: you get sick, and then WTF! your grandmother brings over some chicken soap

Or you're having a bad time, and one of your friends brings over some book with a title like Chicken Soap for the Sole

And what can you really think, besides "Well, fuggittall, at least the book's not called Chicken Soap for the Heel

Does anybody know what chicken soap is? Does anybody really care?

Took about one use to make me look around going "Who's cooking chicken soup?" I threw it out. I just couldn't stand smelling that delicious.

I don't know what they scent it with but it's like musky vanilla with a hint of mango. Frankly, I smell HOT. Some French Market vendor in NO sells it so I go visit every time I'm home.

Yeah, go ahead and laugh, but that's almost twice as long as I've ever been bothered before

For another goof off to say, "chickenbutt". I'm so immature, no wonder some people have thought I was a guy.

And it's Baldwin Hills, not far from where I grew up in the San Fernando Valley. For a few years I lived in Palms, a couple miles from Baldwin Hills.

Well done!
