I'm going to keep trying, but that's a good feeling. Any positive vibes would be appreciated.

(10,418 posts)I quit on July 5th of last year. The hardest part for me was the first two weeks, and in particular the first three days. After those first couple of weeks things started to get a lot easier. Hang in there and do it cold turkey. You'll fee great in no time.

and have been quit for 4. I never want to smoke. I never crave. After the first three months on Champx/Chantix, I smoked hetbal cigarettes which were awful. Did that for a few months. Now I don't use anything and feel herbal cigarette revultion when ever I think of smoking. Also try the "quitnet.com". Good luck. It feels so great pnce you are past the first months.

(23,340 posts)I smoked heavily for 14 years, and have now quit for almost 28 years.
Quitting was easy, I did it hundreds of times! But the last time stuck.
Hardest thing and best thing I ever did for myself.
You can do it!
