This depresses me

1. It is a subway, which says that it's part of a big city.

I don't think this will be out of the ordinary for regular subway users.

She looks kinda toasted and isn't on top of her game musically, but she also looks like
she's having a good time.

One Christman in NYC's Little Italy we were eating in a really nice restaurant the week '
before Christmas when these three elderly guys with horns came in -- HAMMERED -- and
started playing Christmas carols -- hitting the right note MOST of the time. The maitre'd
allowed them to play 3 or 4 songs, brought them all drinks on the house and escorted them
out while they received enthusiastic applause.
