I'm a 'genius'! I figured out how to fix my tv when the sound
turns to fuzz. I figured out it was a problem with the cable because the cable wand "mute" didn't work when I tried it. So today, when the sound went off, I reset the cable box. Sound came back on. Now I can buy some other cables to see if that helps bypass the situation. The good news? I don't have to buy a new tv. Only took me two years to find out what was going on.
