(10,952 posts)The German Shepard is pretty tolerant, but not all dogs are that tolerant. It isn't anything I would allow to take place in my home. It just would not be worth the risk to get an America's Funniest Video entry.

(21,718 posts)They are lucky that dog is not more possessive of his dog food. That is an accident waiting to happen. I love dogs, and dogs rule in my house, but I would never let a child near a dog bowl while the dog was eating.

Would the parents let the dog steal the child's food? I doubt it.

(41,991 posts)I love dogs. I love Shepherds. But the best dog can snap over competition and that baby's vulnerable. Not to mention he's playing in dog spit, which I know isn't toxic but it's still kind of gross.
