sometimes polyamory rocks

Right now, my nascient family is having big problems that seem almost insurmountable. That said, that is not what this main gist of this post is about. One small background plece is that the family is celebrating Thanksgiving on sunday. Since things are so very strained between myself and the other woman, I decided that I would opt out and got to a hotel between my Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Here's the sweet part - one of my other partners and his sweetie put together a gluten free Thanksgiving meal for me and packaged it up for work. There's enough to feed me for the whole weekend. I was just floored by this kindness by them.

While I'm not unhappy to be going to a hotel and even brought my beading supplies, I hadn't yet had turkey and wouldn't have until Monday night were it not for their thoughtfulness. I feel very grateful and wanted to share.
