Okay - this is my second post about this show.
We just finished up season 4 on Netflix and I want to know if 5 is worth buying, or should we just wait. I think it's $17 for the season. Is it worth it?

p.s. it seems they wrapped up everything for season 4 (as if they thought they were done).

1. They broke the last season into to small ones so you will only be getting 8 episodes.

There is definitely a cliffhanger at the end of season 5 so you will be waiting for the last season.

Yes, 6 is the last. It has already been filmed and they are done with the show.

6. it was originally supposed to air in February 2013...

i don't know why they pushed it back- but it REALLY pissed me off.

btw- vince gilligan was on Colbert on Sep 27 of this year- and at that point he said that they were still writing season 6...

7. It will be the last season but it hasn't yet been filmed

They will be shooting this fall/winter. Vince Gilligan spoke to Huffpo a couple of weeks ago.

Where are you now in writing that final set of episodes?

We’re plugging away on the fourth episode out of the final eight, and we’re a little bit behind, because we’re struggling to make it as good as we possibly can, and to think through all the consequences. It’s sort of like playing a game of chess. You think, "Okay, if Walt does this, then what does this character do? What does that character do? What happens if this series of events occurs? What is the counter-move?" So it’s sort of like thinking as a chess player, which is unfortunate because tiddlywinks is more my speed.

5. you can buy season 5 for $13.99 at amazon...$21.99 for hi-def.

instant video, not discs- no date yet for release on dvd.

but yeah- you should get it. definitely.

That is one of the best bargains I ever seen and I haven't even watched season 5.
