My 2006 still has the same basic engine block as AMC's, and I'm not missing that front leaf spring suspension at all.

I think the rear was a "two-pack" (?) leaf spring. Talk about a saggy rear end...

Done right, they are good for transferring the power to the street, but for four wheeling, they kind of suck.

The Galaxie was never beaten in a drag. The owner's manual said not to do over 70 in 1st gear. I popped it into second at 75 a few times. Talk about a NECK breaker. She never lost a drag. I've had her in storage since '89 and she's still in great condition. My grandfather bought her new when I was five.

He put in the "AROOOGAH" horn.

There were very few H1's available (and Ahhhhhnold owns one). The others are just ugly over-priced pieces of shit, mostly owned by real estate agents.
