(34,136 posts)Edited to add: The first time I went to a needlework seminar during one of the classes a sweet little old lady (probably in her 70s) who looked like Miss Marple, took a wrong stitch and quietly said "Shit!" I was a little shocked and looked over at her. She smiled and told me that once you've had a mouthful of the real shit, saying the word was not shocking. She had grown up on a dairy farm and her job was to herd the cows into the barn for milking. Sometimes as she yelled at them, one who take a dump - if she was too close, it would end up in her open mouth.
Having been in a similar situation with horses, I fully understood.

(34,136 posts)That is also why both houses we've had on this farm had the laundry room right next to the back door.
It came in real handy when we were just nasty dirty because of cleaning stalls. The day I was soaked with amniotic fluid mixed with baby feces after delivering a premature foal in serious distress, it was really necessary.
The new house connects the mud/laundry room with the master bath so I don't have to run through the house naked while covered in sh!t.

(34,136 posts)I like the accouterments label. That sounds so upper crust. You can't be a hoarder if you just have accouterments!
