This is Bailey, Pippi, and Maddy. (Maddy's got a muzl on because she hates Pip with the burning fire of a thousand suns.)

(36,827 posts)He's just about doubled in size since I took that picture. He was fairly small then. I took the picture with a manual focus (my favorite kind) macro lens. The bird picture is the same lens.

(34,137 posts)He's semi-feral, though he has mellowed as he has aged. The picture was taken in 2007, he's now 10 years old. He is sort of a tabby Siamese but his color has gotten much darker as he has gotten older.
Cool cat, though. We can't get another cat while he's still alive - when he weighed 4 ounces he terrorized and beat up my husband's 20 pound cat. He stalks deer and stares down large dogs and wild foxes. He leaves scars when he's displeased.
I love him a great deal.

This was the photo from the shelter ad where I found him. Don't let him fool you. He's only 1 1/2 yrs old, just a big puppy. It'll be a few more dog years before he's eligible to run for office.

I would enjoy sharing photos of my pals but I read somewhere where one needed an outside account such as Flicker or similar. Don't really want to do that. Any other suggestions from some better computer minds?

(5,352 posts)Here she is after she got home from being boarded last summer when my air conditioning went out. She was stressed out by a couple of days away from home but settled back in almost immediately, as you can tell:
And here she is looking a little livelier (too lively!). Look deep into her eyes--you will give her treeeeaats....
