So the girl, it's always the girl, is hiding. And she's whimpering...loud. Way too obvious.

1. When I play "monster in the house" with my young nieces,

I always have to explain to them that a real monster would hear them giggling behind the couch. It's imperative to remain absolutely quiet.

2. My pet peeve is they go into a dark room and never turn on the lights! n/t

3. It's that kind of thing

along with not turning on the lights, opening the door with strange noises behind it.....

In the end, I always think that they are Darwin Award winners.
