The town of Cabot Cove in the show "Murder She Wrote".

"However, none of that changes the fact that if you lived in Cabot Cove from 1984-1996, there was a pretty good chance that someone was going to murder your ass. "

For a town with a population of 3000, it suffered about 66 homicides a year. Probably explains why the place experienced no population growth during the 12 years Jessica Fletcher lived there. For every newborn or newcomer, some citizen got whacked.

I lived in Portland, ME from 1988 to 1993 and there was no train service to Boston.
Now Amtrak has service between those two cities.

Was the world's best serial killer and was masterful at framing others for her crimes.

Would have made a good twist ending for a finale.

As best as I can recall, there were no murders, but we were a bit quieter than those homicidal Cabot Covers.

I wonder what the murder rate in TV's Oxford is during the years of Morse and Lewis, where murders seldom occur in less than three at the time. At least on Lewis.

Would you believe the internet I'm using at the public library has blocked access to cracked.com for being "tasteless and offensive". How silly...
