...in commercials, is to play the original song as soon as I can. This helps expunge the commercial idiocy from my brain and generally leaves me feeling much happier.

I heard some female vocalist doing a Muzak rendition of "All You Need Is Love" at about half the original tempo the other day, and it nearly drove me

Music was overplayed on the stations that I listened to. If I hear any of their songs now, I have to change the station.
