(drink a few sips because the ice expands).

Long lasting ice cold water to drink all day.

Bring a fresh blouse to work for a change out of the sweaty stuff.

the ice water idea is best.

I also used to carry around one of those little cheap hand fans. Battery operated.

Then there are the paper or plastic folding ones. Got a bunch of them from some Asian imports place online.

I also used one of those gel pack things you freeze, and a corn bag that you can freeze for summer use or microwave for winter use.

I'm not there yet, but several of my sisters are ... I shouldn't laugh because I know what goes around, and all that. But "private summers"! I'm cracking up here. I'd think perhaps when it's winter outside, they might be a plus? I hate being cold.

I had 2 ounces of soy milk every night before going to bed. It really helped with night sweats and hot flashes. Chocolate soy milk was my favorite. Did this for a couple of years.

and put one anywhere where I'd be for more than a couple of minutes. I still have one on my desk today, and it's been at least five years since the Change. I tend to get really warm after eating lunch, I'm sure it's a menopause thing.

Good luck to you. Men don't know how good they've got it....
