I live across the street from a liquor store, been here for 20 years.
I've been there countless times.
Never bought booze or beer, or anything alcoholic for that matter.
Milk, candy, ice cream, snacks, and soda. That's all.

Never climbed to the top of it.
Anyway, no...it's not weird at all. At least, I don't think so.
I have a bottle of coconut rum in my cabinet that must be six or seven years old and still almost full.
There's also a bottle of Amaretto around her someplace I gave Mr Pipi for Christmas at least 15 years ago. Still almost full.

(692 posts)And realized I hated alcohol then & there, never even think about it. I can't get addicted to nicotine, either, which is good.
Weird, since my sister is an alcoholic, while my parents haven't drank in 30 years or more.

(47,675 posts)The beer stores don't sell it either. Just beer, soda, snacks, and accessories. There are plenty of "newsstand" stores that have the smutt. And every grocery store and convenience stores has Cosmo with it's "25 Ways to Make His Penis Explode" stories (they seem to be obligatory for the front page).
